Pancha-karma. The five actions.
For many of the conditions above, once they have settled in deeply, the prescribed treatment is a Panchkarma cycle. Panchkarma is not a wellness package. It is the classical Ayurvedic method of deep cleansing: five distinct procedures, prescribed only when the body asks for one, prepared for carefully, and built around your specific imbalance.
- Vamana: therapeutic cleansing of the upper body
- Virechana: controlled cleansing of the digestive tract
- Basti: medicated enema, the most-prescribed of the five
- Nasya: nasal medication for the head and sinuses
- Raktamokshana: blood purification, classical, rare, indication-only
